As suggested by Denning and Smith (1999) and modeled after several State laws, this Amendment would be worded something like:
“Congress shall pass no bill, and no bill shall become law which embraces more than one subject, that subject being clearly expressed in the title.”
This could easily be paired with The Brevity of Legislation Amendment, but that might violate the spirit of the proposed Amendment. See this reference page from Google Books for more information.
